Tale of the Tape

Be prepared for another barn-burner, folks, as the 26th place Ducks face the 2nd overall Cannots. Not too sure what the Ducks have left to play for, besides jobs next season and a chance to spoil Vancouver's bid for a second President's Trophy.

For me, I'll be interested to see if Vancouver can continue to: a) choke the life out of the game through the neutral zone, b) deny the opposition shots from the meaty scoring areas in front of the Canucks' goal, and c) get bodies in front of the Ducks' net and get the garbage goals. So basically, continue to tune up for the first round of the playoffs.

2-1 Vancouver (OT).

Well the Nucks won all 4 games while I was off in BC, but the main thing I'm worried about is injuries -- which the Ducks are always happy to dish out.

So just stay healthy guys. I don't want any of the stuff tCL is talking about.

Apparently, the Canucks are not the prohibitive favorite heading into this game. So far this season, they are 1-2-0 against the Ducks ,

so have the nucks been that bad or just Lou?

NuckinNY told me that the defense has been very suspect; MAGs was responsible for 2 of the goals, but still, Luongo has to stop at least one of those...

Big Momma Kassian left the game in the second period favoring his arm or shoulder... Early word is the dreaded UBI...

Booth has been stapled to the bench since the second... Crisis of confidence is my guess.

Entertaining game. Grags is a defensive adventure... Didn't like the Lou boo. Not cool people. Not cool... They need to sort the pp out or it's going to be a short post season. Remember when we sucked at shoot-outs? Me neither.
