Oilers deserved the win. Ended their epic losing streak. I think these guys will be a force in the future with all of that young talent.

As for the Canucks - it was a meaningless games but hopefully it will be a reminder not to get complacent as they head into the post season.

Smart, strategic thinking by AV to sit and rest core players. I can live with outcomes like this when we've clinched and resting for the playoffs...................What do you mean everyone played, that's just :steamingpileofcrap:

what an awful showing, awful, these guys can't get it done i think its time to FIRE AV! hes had it good for too long, why is he still there, obviously can't keep his team motivated? Sedins? 5 more years of this? BS, should have let burkie get them last year. Gillies better do something this off season...BIG! bring back steve Staos? where Paul Kariya?
and DONT get me started on that Wop between the pipe. I don't care that he didn't play last night, more to that point, who puts a ginger kid in net?

Rome's hit on Smid:

A bright spot in an otherwise poor Canucks effort.

Friedman tweeted that hit was WAY late. Now that I've seen it for myself, I have no problem at all with that hit. They teach you at an early age to take the body if he tries to chip it past you and skate around. Even Smid didn't seem all that miffed about it.
