Yeah, the first thing I thought of when they unveiled the previous ones was "Man, those things are so busy! How could a professional hockey player ever get around with that much extra colored fabric weighing them down!"
And of course, guys who can bench press 250 lbs would be crushed by the weight of a traditional jersey, with all that extra nylon stitching. That's why those little sissy Europeans use sublimated jerseys you know.
And if teams are going to keep bringing in fashionistas to design uniforms, I say they have to complete the circle & have players design clothes for fashion shows, with said clothes being attributed to the names of the uniform designers. Fair is fair, in the words of Billy Jean.
