The new Penn State hockey program is having a domino effect.
http://www.denverpost.com/sports/ci_18446828In addition to Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Penn State forming a new Big Ten hockey conference (which of course isn't ten programs, just like in football), Denver, Colorado College, Nebraska-Omaha, UND, Miami (Ohio I'm assuming), and Minnesota-Duluth are breaking away to form their own conference. WCHA is pretty much screwed at this point and will probably go away. Definitely gotta hit up some UNO/DU games this upcoming season.
Terry Pegula has definitely left his mark in hockey in a very short period of time.
