Think players don't know how to play physical now and come playoffs when the Refs start to let it go guys are stepping over lines cause all season with a different set of rules they have not been hitting. Kadri, Kuch, maybe Thorton out west just strike me as guys trying to be physical but not really sure how that is done anymore. Pick a set of rules and play both seasons with it would be a start. Though maybe it was just the Leafs Bruins games where the Whistle was put away...till it got out of control in game two.

Heh. I've watched enough series between the Wings and Sharks...Jumbo Joe used to get away with basically whatever he wanted, between the whistles too. He wasn't as bad as Doan, though.

But yeah the "call the game as evenly as possible standard of officiating", it sucks. Call the game as it happens both regular season and playoffs, not as evenly as possible. Calling it evenly is not calling it fairly.

Just finish it at home Leafs. Go back to Boston you are underdogs again, they need to play like they get that. Easy to say hard to do.

I feel better about the Leafs holding a lead....if they can get one in game seven.

Hate being a ref complainer and doubt I have at all up to know on here but the stuff Chara gets away with that no one else does is ridiculous. Yeah he is old but if he wants to keep playing with the young guys he should have the same standard of what he is allowed to do.

well I called Butch to talk him off the Leafs edge too. The Leafs have played a great series. They've owned the 5 on 5 play. I know this may seem like deja vu to you guys but this team is way ahead of where any Leafs team was the past 2 times. I personally think the Leafs take game 7 and go all the way to the East finals so hang in there Craig!

Can't have an epic third period melt down if you are already out of the game.

A Babcockian 2nd period adjustment! If I was a Leafs fan I would feel excellent going into the 3rd!

Oh yeah if history tells us anything it's that the Leafs have big third periods in Boston in game sevens.

HEY! NO stinking thinking here! Focus! Leafs own 5 on 5. This is NOT the Leafs team from the last two times....

As much as I love the B's some part of me cheers for the Leafs here! I want to see them rise!

Even if they fail I think this was a way better showing.

hmm I feel bad for the leafs....but not that bad. I thought the leafs had it this series and I thought they owned the 5 on 5. Tukka was awesome and Coyle and Kuraly were great tonight.

Thought Babs had an awful series. Rolled four lines, kept getting Chara'd on the matchups and didn't ride his horses enough.

I think the Bruins were just plain better, even though they're not exactly loaded with secondary scoring.

Goaltending the difference tonight with a couple of really bad D turnovers.

As E.L. said the Leafs need to ride their horses no matter how young they are. Brown and Marleau needed to be paired way back they where doing nothing.

Agree...Bruins were turning it over repeatedly. Unfortunately the right lines were not out there to take advantage of it. In the 2nd yes...but with the last change in the 3rd the Bruins adapted. Its too bad as I thought the leafs were better in the series this year.

I should probably shut my mouth, but I can't. I feel bad for the Leaf fans I know, but I couldn't possibly be happier seeing Tavares out while the Isles play on. He talked about what great memories he had, sitting on the couch with his father watching the playoffs. Well dickhead, now you can sit there and watch your former team in the 2nd round. Cheers, motherfucker!
