The Jays traded for Royals speed and defence guy Whit Merrifield, who couldn't legally enter Canada two weeks ago because he was unvaccinated. Now that he's a Jay, is he going to get jabbed or just play road trips? Strange scenario.

I ASSume they'd have spoken to him about it. They'd have to. Right? Or they'd heard about this... If not, as a fan of a division rival, I'm going to laugh my ass off. Sorry Jays fans, but that would be funny as hell. They Jays go home for a 6 game set and he sits in some hotel in the US, waiting, getting paid... :lol:

They're leaving it up to him. Jays are on the road till Aug 12 and they're going to let the pennant race speak for itself. When the road trip is over, Merrifield can basically either get vaccinated or stay home.

I was going to change the title last season but I figured I'd see how long this one would run. I thought this year would start a new thread. Guess not! :lol:
