Bryce Harper out till July with thumb surgery.

It's not just the pitchers going down with injuries.

Giancarlo Stanton hits the hardest homers I've ever seen. Surprised the ball doesn't get blown to bits on contact.

Even if the ball doesn't, scoreboards do.

2nd headline on tsn is about Jeter getting lifted in a double-switch. OH MY GOD.

http://www.tsn.ca/mlb/story/?id=452290

And good lord! The pitcher who went in didn't even realize that he was the one getting inserted into Jeter's spot! THE HUMANITY!

Quote:
David Robertson didn't even know he was brought in to face David Wright in a double switch that lifted Jeter until he got Wright to ground out to Jeter's replacement at shortstop, defensive whiz Brendan Ryan, with runners at the corners.

Don't think even the Mets are likely to bring 50 Cent into their bullpen. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseb ... -1.1807586

At least he could laugh about it. So did everyone else.

At least no one was there to see it, since the Mets blow.

Yeah 50 Cent's was pretty bad. Carly Rae's is tough to beat, though. Obama is by far the worst president. Clinton might have the best pitch out there. Nolan Ryan still has no control.

The Giants are still in first. Can't explain it.

Jays game on Friday! First game of the year. Bought a 10-game pack with my buddy last year, not this year. Go figure.

Henderson Alvarez, of the massive Jays-Marlins trade and of the insanely low K-rate, with his 3rd shutout of the season  He's got his k-rate way up over what it was as a Jay, though.

Tulo is always injured. Rundowns probably result in an out 99% of the time. 2 runs already scored to make it 6-1. Not worth the back an forth effort of a rundown and risk injuries. Balls were itchy.

I hope Tulo and CarGo get traded and earn their championship rings. They're definitely not getting them in Denver.
