Poor Versteeg. Isn't this the second time he's been cap-purged by the Hawks? And Chicago still ain't out of the woods yet. They still only have 6 d-men on the roster so someone else is gonna have to go. I'm sure Bowman is doing everything short of begging anyone who'll listen to take Brian Bickell off his hands, but I imagine it'll take some salary retention to get any deal surrounding him done. |
