Well the Flames are somewhat clear.

Total of 19

https://calgaryherald.com/sports/hockey ... c95ab1824c

Quote:
In total, 19 of their players are dealing with the virus, including three with confirmed cases of the new Omicron variant. Three coaches — head coach Darryl Sutter, associate coach Kirk Muller and assistant coach Ryan Huska — also tested positive this past week, along with nine members of the support staff and one member of the training staff. The total is up to 32 cases.

The expectation from the team’s head physician, Dr. Ian Auld, is that in the coming days, they will discover more cases of the Omicron variant among the Flames’ positive tests. Luckily, the team’s reported cases have been asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic.

Flames general manager Brad Treliving joked on Friday that the remaining unaffected players — forward Blake Coleman and Matthew Tkachuk, defenceman Michael Stone and goalie Dan Vladar — could still be pretty efficient in a three-on-three overtime scenario.

 Right? Clearly, I would have those dudes giving blood or samples of some sort to see how genetically modified they are!

No way they avoid contact from everyone else....

The Flames pull out of the arena deal they signed with the city.

I think a modified deal still gets done, this feels like posturing. But it'd be funny if the Flames went back to Atlanta!

Flames descend back to earth.....but are still a plus 24 in diff. They also have about 5 games in hand on the leaders in the Pacific.

A measuring stick swing through the cream of the league right now.....Florida, Tampa and Carolina all in a row.

Handily beaten in Florida and Tampa with the conclusion in Carolina tonight.

Mange Punani is cold as ice! When he's not scoring he's not on the sheet. Going to have to find a way to do other things.

Johnny quietly and consistently leads this team. Huge loss if they can't make up and find common contract ground.

The Southeast trip is no joke like it used to be. All three can put the puck in the net.

Flames get pounded by the Sens...and just don't look good playing hockey again. Ho hum, still above .500 for now.

Mange Punani is cold as ice and if the discussion on Sportsnet was any indicator he has no plans on signing anything longer than a 1 year with the Flames.

Markstrom looks downright pedestrian the past few games and Vladar no better.......but I would attribute that mostly to team play with some of the antics I see going on out there.

In fact without Daryl holding this team together I could see the rails coming off quite easily.

Can he hold them together and into the post season? We'll see!

Johnny meanwhile is doing everything possible to get hella paid!

Did I see one Tcachuk flatten another, only to then get slashed in the balls by the downed brother? Or did I make that up?

Flames get a good one in Toffoli.

Really gained respect for his game watching him night in and night out in Montreal. Yeah he's slow, but he's positionally sound and rarely got himself out of position to make an offensive play, yet would still drop 20 goals annually. That's impressive.

Really liked that pick up of Toffoli. Quality player and right for this team.

The Flames are on a 10 game winning streak and playing excellent hockey.

The best thing about this year is that the Flames are playing well with no drama. Makes watching the games enjoyable and an easy ride to take. I've really got nothing to add of significance so I just enjoy the ride and Johnny. I don't think I've ever mentioned this Lindholm guy before so I will do it now....really good player on the down low.....like Patrice.

DS should be up for the Jack Adams.

Sutter is seriously starting to look like one of the Yridians from Star Trek.

Eghad this team is a dynamo right now. Adding Toffoli was a perfect addition to this club. They will get another crack at the Avs again this saturday night. The first game was amazing. Flames are really elevating their play at the right time. Could make some noise in the post season this year. DS knows how to do that!

I can't believe the only loss they've had at home in 13 games was against the Habs.

Giordano being held out of tonight's Kraks game.
