Ryan O'Byrne blocked a shot and he posted a pic of it on his Twitter feed--it looks like his knee is giving birth to another knee. :o

Duchene may or may not be good to go tonight.

Quote from the Twitter feed of local Denver sportscaster Gary Miller:

Quote:
Former Av Alex Tanguay just asked me, "what happened to my Broncos? They give up that pass & then take a knee. I was screaming at my TV."

We all did, Alex, we all did. :fffffuck: :fffffuck: :fffffuck: :fffffuck: :fffffuck:

This is crazy...Avs came out flat as pancakes to start this one, but have scored three to get within one of this contest. Coincidentally, the announcement that O'Reilly would again be an Av may have sparked the team into overdrive. Conversely, word that the offer sheet failed this soon may have caused some players' shoulders to sink (except maybe that one guy who wouldn't be on the roster anymore).

Scratch that, they were interviewing Duchene after the game on NHL Network and unless he's a very convincing actor, he and his teammates didn't know the Avs had matched.

Whatever the case, it was the Aura of O'Reilly that carried the Avs last night. Can't wait to see what the guy can do IN THE FLESH.
