So why is Alexander Mogilny not in the HHoF? We've discussed Theo Fleury in the past and that just seems to be due to internal politics (and completely unacceptable but at least there appears to be a reason) but I have no idea why Mogilny keeps getting passed over. Anyone have any ideas?

Mogilny should be in just for saying he likes to sit outside the Carolina hotel and watch the traffic go by. That was fucking great.

Seems like they could have subbed Mogilny for Lundquvist. I think its time for some grit. I'd love to see ol Bobby Probert inducted some day. Hell...if you can ignore a guy with 1300 points for years then Bobby should be on the list.

If I ever somehow win one of those huge lottery jackpots, I'm creating Hall of Fame Adjacents for all the major sports. For all the folks who come close to getting into HoFs, but just miss for some reason. I'd put them in close proximity to the actual HoFs. Guys like Mogilny, Butch Goring (as a player, not a broadcaster), and other interesting folks, like Mr. & Mrs. Sutter who had 6 sons play in the NHL, a few grandkids too... Walter Gretzky too. They'd be in the Builder category. Fun stuff like that.
